TabTrade — What It Is
Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.
His background is relevant. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. It is more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres prime brokers run on. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid.
The Software
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from a single account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders find it more natural after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That would be a good addition when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Good for beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade does not.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Execution Speed
The execution is the thing Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get holds up. Hardly anyone at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
But. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But factor into your decision.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it is your call.
The Bonus
Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You put money in, TabTrade add bonus funds. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you deposit.
